How it all began
Thrift Tool was founded in 1990 by Walt Jones.
Leaving behind his management position at a successful machine shop in the area, Walt pursued his dream of starting his own business. He began in his own garage with only a lathe, a Bridgeport mill, and a surface grinder.
Thirty years later, the company is still steadily growing and adapting to changing demands. From day one we have been committed to supplying Quality, Value and Service to our customers.
We are currently housed in a modern 8,000 square ft. building with quality late model equipment.
